216776Feb 21 2002
I have the ORACLE CLIENT 7.3.2x Installed in a Windows 2000 Professional in a Remote site and in this moment is connecting to the server (Windows NT 4 SP 5 & ORACLE SERVER 8.0.5) throw a ISDN line 64K. point-to-point.
The TNSPING to the remote database is
TNSPING (110ms)...(120ms)...(110ms...
for now all is right but...

Now i had connecting the same client whith a ADSL line 256K connectting to ISP Provider, using the Microsoft VPN Client and i have a Windows 2000 Server & ISA Server like MS PPTP Server, who is Routing all the transactions to the ORACLE Server installed in the Windows NT 4, in this case the connection is too slow example

TNSPING (650ms)...(680ms)...(680ms...

COULD SOMEBODY SAY ME ANYTHING!!!!
