ODBC admin to OBIEE server crashes on completion of configuration

While trying to set up an ODBC DSN to OBIEE from a client machine, the ODBC window crashes after the connection is set up. I have tried with different clients [both 32-bit client and 32-bit ODBC driver on 64-bit client] and servers[both 32 and 64 bit] and the result is the same.

All steps get completed successfully until I click on 'Finish'. In the last configuration window, I can even see the subject areas. But as soon as I click on 'Finish', I get an 'ODBC Administrator has stopped working' message.

Please let me know if there is a solution to this. Is this a known problem?
