ODAC installation problems - install closes immediately

Hi.

I have a problem. After finally being able to download the odac from oracle via a proxy i cant get it to install!
I have tried the ODAC 11g Beta 11.2.0.1.1, the Oracle 11g ODAC 11.1.0.7.20 with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio and Oracle 11g ODAC 11.1.0.7.20 with Xcopy Deployment.

All three installs ends immediately after starting the installer exe.
I see a comandline box flashing by and then closes itself so i cant see what error it is.

I dont know if i have missed something...do i need something installed before i can install the odac? From what i have read by the prereqs there wasn't anything i needed...

I even installed the Oracle Database XE but it didnt help.
All i need the ODAC for is to be able to code some connections into a existing oracle server (not on my computer)

Im trying to install this on a Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit computer.

As you have probably guessed...im new to oracle development :/
