Hi, We are trying to test ODA's appliance manager (oakcli) on virtualbox. So, these are the steps we tried :
1) We downloaded the ODA iso image, "OAKFactoryImage_2.9.0.0.0_140128.1.iso" , which is in a patch "p12999313_29000_Linux-x86-64**".
2) We create an empty Virtualbox VM, with 3GB RAM & add two 20GB fixed-size disks to it.
3) We now attach the ISO image to empty VM, as CD drive & boot it.
4) It takes us well through ODA installation, partitioning the drives (sees them as sda & sdb), then installing the full appliance packages (about 500+ items).
5) Towards the end, it displays "Running post-installation tasks" & eventually reboots.
6) After the reboot, it brings us back to the installation screen again & asks for partitioning the drives again.
7) At this point, if we remove the ISO disk & then reboot, it tries to boot & displays a message about not being able to find some image file "**uek"".
8) So, essentially, we're not able to simulate ODA on this VM.
Any clues anyone ?
