Our database version is 11.2.0.3.0 and it sits on and ODA V1 with OAK 2.4.0.0.0. The quarterly security patch for the database is out and my superiors are asking whether am going to apply this patch. Problem, I am told not to run opatch on the ODA and use OAK to do everything. How do I get this patch on the database which sits on ODA without Opatch. What utility am I going to use to get the patch on the database that sits on the ODA. I guess my question is how do I get security patches on the database that sits on ODA without opatch?
