OCI cross-platform

Hi,

I am wondering whether OCI has some functions that are platform specific, say, if I have an OCI application developed on windows, can I get the same application working on Linux/Unix and Mac OS without any changes (assuming I have OCI instant client installed on those OS and did a re-compilation and linking)?
