We are exploring the feasibility of setting up Oracle databases on OCI Compute infrastructure instead of DBaaS. Our primary question,o ne that our Oracle sales representative has been unable to answer; is how licensing works for running Oracle Standard Edition 2 (SE2) on a Compute instance with, for example, 4 oCPUs. Additionally, we would like to know through whom the licenses should be sourced.
