OCFS2 volume label

OCFS2 (1.2.5) on RHEL 4U3 (2.6.9-34.ELsmp kernel) x86_64 - tunefs.ocfs2 issue

While attempting to change the label for an OCFS volume:
/sbin/tunefs.ocfs2 -L /u08 /dev/sdc1
I get:
tunefs.ocfs2 1.2.4
tunefs.ocfs2: Trylock failed while locking down the cluster

How can I change the label an OCFS volume?
