Obtaining MAC Address of VDI Sun Ray box

I've searched the forums for an answer to this but couldn't find any info.
Please accept my apologies if this has been answered already.....
We are investigating moving our call centre estate from standard Dell desktops to VDI on Sun Ray. However, we have come up against an issue relating to single signon of the telephony agent to their telset.
Currently the agent logs into their desktop machine and the application then logs them into their phone based on a lookup of PC Host Name -> Telephone Device Number. So we have a "station" made up of a PC + telephone.
My problem is that as we will be moving to VDI we can't guarantee that an agent sitting at a particular desk will always get the same PC host name or that different agents sitting at the same Sun Ray (on different days) will also always get the the same host name. As our lookup will therefore be based on an unreliable PC hostname it follows that we can't work out which telephone is sitting on their desk.
So my question is: Is there anything I can get at (via Java) that will always be static for a particular Sun Ray box? It doesn't necessarily need to be the Mac Address but it does need to be static and unique - otherwise we could end up with the situation where an agent logs into a particular desktop and the application then logs them into a telephone on the other side of the building; which will obviously cause us a few issues!
Thanks for taking the time to read and any comments or advice you may have.
Best Regards,
Daniel King
