OBIIEE 11g Connection pool

Hi,

I am using OBIEE 11g and Oracle Enterprise manager to ipload the rpd to server. Now in the rpd connection pool I simply put the data source name user id and password. Right now it is in development instance. Now my query is if I take this to production what should be my approach for migration both for rpd and catalog. And if I do the same way connection as I did in development, what happen if production password is changed in future.

I am not using data warehouse. I am using direct database fetch using Apps schema(oracle application database)

Cn anyone tell me what to do in this scenario and what should be my best possible approach for connection pool setting before deploy that in production.
