Hi All,

Once again I have come across a peculiar problem in obiee11g.

Machine 1:
--------------
In the Dashboard > Catalog > Shared Folder, I am unable to set Permissions to any of the folders. The Permissions link is active but nothing happens when I click on it. I have created new users in console and added BIAdministrators group to it. I have also also added these users to Presentation Server Administrators group by going to ManageGroups URL, but its still not working. I have deleted users from catalog manager and tried login in again, still no help. I have even used old backup catalogs but still no help. In the Catalog Manager > Shared Folder, I have added these users and have given Full Control, still in dashboard catalog, the permission link is not working.

Machine 2:
--------------
I have another installation of obiee11g on on Machine 2 and it was also giving the same problem. But when I deleted the catalog and copied a recent previous version, it started to work. Now, in the Machine 2, I am able to set permissions. I have even tried creating new users and I am able to set the permissions. So, permissions part on Machine 2 is working just fine.

I have copied the catalog from Machine 1 into Machine 2 and still no help. It seems as if the catalog has gone bad.

Any help/suggestion will be highly appreciated.
