OBIEE_NAVTEQ_Sample map source keeps disappearing
My OBIEE_NAVTEQ_Sample map data source keeps disappearing from my list of dynamic data sources upon restart of all services.
I've installed OBIEE 11g and the sample NAVTEQ schema. In the mapviewer administration screens, I've created a dynamic data source using that data, and I've successfully created maps in Answers using that data.
But if I go to FMC ... Business Intelligence ... coreapplication ... Overview, and Restart all components, that dynamic data source disappears and I have to initialize it all over again. Granted, it takes about 10 seconds to do so, but it shouldn't be necessary. (Naturally, the same thing occurs during a restart of the server itself.)
Specifically, if I open the http://{server}:9704/mapviewer, and click Datasources, there are no entries under Existing data sources. OBIEE_NAVTEQ_Sample was listed there before the restart, and now it's gone.
I've tried to narrow down exactly which process might be doing the damage, but I've been unsuccessful. I've restarted each of the five main system components on the Availability tab, and none of those restarts cause this problem.
Has anyone out there seen this behavior?
