OBIEE 12c - Need for gcc compilers post installation

Hi Team,

SR 3-20650782831

Customer installed OBIEE 12c (12.2.1.2.0) in their Linux v6 servers. There are gcc compilers installed on the linux servers which they want to remove.

I understand that GCC compilers are a prerequisite for OBIEE installation. However, are they still required post a successful installation / configuration of OBIEE?

Will removing the compilers have any functional impact on OBIEE?
