OBIEE 11g: Sort by multiple columns

866310Aug 9 2011 — edited Aug 10 2011
We recently upgraded to 11g from 10g. In 10g you were able to sort by a column, and then put a secondary sort on another column, regardless of the first.

So in 10g you can display quarter and region, and by Default you would see by default both are sorted descending:

Q1 America
Q1 Europe
Q2 America
Q2 Europe

And I can then sort Quarter by descending and region by descending and see that both are sorted descending regardless of the other:

Q2 Europe
Q2 America

Q1 Europe
Q1 America

In 11g, however, if I sort the quarter descending, and then sort region descending, quarter reverts to ascending and I get something like this:

Q1 Europe
Q2 Europe
Q1 America
Q2 America

How can I get similar functionality out of 11g?

Thanks for the help!
