OBI10G - Rounding Totals Problem

PedroFMar 8 2012 — edited Mar 9 2012
Hi,

I have values from a fact table that i divide by 1 000 000 and then i format to show only 2 decimal places. However, i have a problem with this. When choosing only 2 decimal places it seems that the grand total for the column will round its own value instead of doing the sum of all parcels of that column. Take a look at this picture:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/27/rounding.jpg/

The left table has rounding to 2 decimal places and you can see that the value of the 2nd decimal place is 1. However, the correct sum of the 4 parcels of that column for the 2nd decimal place is 0. You can see on the right table that the total is rounding that from 52 390,905897.

My question is: is there way to avoid this and make the grand total sum the parcels in the correct way or isn't there nothing i can do?

Thank you
