Hi,

I am receiving the below errors on OBIEE 11g. I am trying to correct an instance which was messed up for some reason.

D:\11gBI\instances\instance4\bin>opmnctl status

Processes in Instance: instance4
--------------------------------------------------------------+---------
ias-component | process-type | pid | status
--------------------------------------------------------------+---------
coreapplication_obiccs1 | OracleBIClusterCo~ | N/A | Down
coreapplication_obisch1 | OracleBIScheduler~ | N/A | Down
coreapplication_obijh1 | OracleBIJavaHostC~ | 3868 | Alive
coreapplication_obips1 | OracleBIPresentat~ | N/A | Down
coreapplication_obis1 | OracleBIServerCom~ | 1568 | Alive

The BI server is up and Running.

I am seeing the below error in sawlog0.log.

[2011-02-11T12:27:25.000+01:00] [OBIPS] [ERROR:1] [] [saw.sawserver.initializesawserver] [ecid: ] [tid: ] Could not create a system user connection to Oracle BI Server during start-up. Please check the error message and try again.[[

I know this essentially means the credentials of the BISystem user which is used to communicate between presentation and the BI server is messed up. I have tried changing the same in Weblogic EM and also the console, but i am still getting this error.

Can someone point me to the correct places to sync up the credentials for the BISystem user in 11g to get over the above error.

thanks,
sandeep.
