Obfuscation of APEX password in dads.conf file

I am running on a Linux Red Hat platform and, using the instructions found in the help for dadTool.pl.

I believe that I have set up all the environment variables as described but when I execute perl dadTool.pl -o I get the following error.

Can't locate strict.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /project/ias904/src/src_021106/pdc_perl/bin/Linux/Opt/lib/5.6.1/i686-linux /project/ias904/src/src_021106/pdc_perl/bin/Linux/Opt/lib/5.6.1 /project/ias904/src/src_021106/pdc_perl/bin/Linux/Opt/lib/site_perl/5.6.1/i686-linux /project/ias904/src/src_021106/pdc_perl/bin/Linux/Opt/lib/site_perl/5.6.1 /project/ias904/src/src_021106/pdc_perl/bin/Linux/Opt/lib/site_perl .) at dadTool.pl line 4.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at dadTool.pl line 4.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
