OAM Integration with EBS and Federation with ADFS

Sneha_SJul 16 2016 — edited Jul 19 2016

Hi,

We have a requirement of integrating OAM with EBS for SSO and authentication would be done through federation with ADFS.

We have configured the following servers for this:

-OHS server where webgate would be deployed

-OAM server where access gate would be deployed

-OID server

As a pre-requisite for federation with ADFS, end-points of OAM should be SSL enabled. I am slightly confused here.

1. Do we have to enable SSL in OAM server or OHS server for federation to happen?

2. Can the certificate be installed on F5 or it has to be on the server itself?

3. As EBS url is https based, is it necessary forĀ  OHS server to be SSL enabled? Will there be any handshaking problem if I enable SSL only for OAM and not for OHS?

Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
