OALL8 is in an inconsistent state

Hi,

I was running a query with a join on 4 tables and it was running fine couple of times but it started to give an error:

'OALL8 is in an inconsistent state'

I asked the DBA about it and he was able to run it without any issues.

What could have possibly gone wrong? What is the reason for this error to show up?
