nVidia MCP79 ethernet not working

593360Feb 2 2010 — edited Feb 14 2010
I am trying to set up a development box with OEL 5.4. Everything works GREAT except my nVidia ethernet controller (embedded on my Asus P5N7A-VM motherboard). It uses the FORCEDETH module.

[jeff@jeff-linux ~]$ lspci | grep -i ethernet
00:0a.0 Ethernet controller: nVidia Corporation MCP79 Ethernet (rev b1)

[jeff@jeff-linux ~]$ lsmod | grep -i forcedeth
forcedeth 88273 0

Any help available to troubleshoot this issue? I have an older card in the box right now for network access, but really want this on the embedded gigabit ethernet if possible.

Thanks,

Jeff
