592815Jun 24 2011 — edited Jul 19 2011
Hi Experts,

We i check some EM issue in 4 nodes oracle 10g RAC in Linux, I got some error or return other ip.

nslookup SALEnode1
Server: 123.xxx.xx.2
Address: 123.xxx.xx.2#53

Name: salenode1.xxx.net
Address: 113.xx.xx.x
Name: sale1xxx.net
Address: 113.xx.xx.x

or
server can't find SALEnode2: NXDOMAIN

or
;; Got SERVFAIL reply from 123.xxx.xx.2, trying next server
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

On the wab, I go tinfo as sure that nslookup returns the IP address of the primary network adaptor, normally eth0. public IP address

As our SA info, 123.xxx.xx.2 is a monitor server in Linux system. nothing wrong?

Could you explaining it for me?
Thanks
Jin
