I am currently working on Adaptive Case Management in Oracle JDeveloper 12c and want to notify 3 different users (they have 3 different rules) depending on an attribute of a completed Case Activity (I solved it via Business Rules which activate the activity).
I created a BPM Process, implemented a Human task and promoted the BPM Process as Human Task.
My question is now: How can i notify the user? Best would be that the notification is shown in his workload of the business process workspace (or can there only BPM Processes be shown)
I know that I could solve it via a BPM Process that implements a Human Task, but that wouldn't be right conceptually..
I tried to play around with Notification Task (the notification types Mail, SMS, voice and IM wouldn't fit I guess, since I want the user to get notified as soon as he logs into the business process workspace).
But there is another notification type called 'user', what does that do? Haven't found anything in the oracle documentation and google didn't help either. :/
