Not able to view Business Areas in the Discoverer Desktop

AboothahirJul 20 2012 — edited Jul 20 2012
Hello All,

I am currently trying to create a report using the discoverer 11g(11.1.1.3.0) on Oracle apps R12 (12.1.3), I have performed the following steps:

1. Installed the Discoverer (Admin and Desktop) 11g (11.1.1.3.0) on my Windows xp Machine.

2. Configured Discoverer to use Oracle Apps User as user name/password.

3. I created the one Business Area using the sysadmin login of the apps user.

4. Given the Privileges to the sysadmin and operations user for creating workbook in the discoverer desktop.
Tools --> Security --> User --> sysadmin/operation and added the Business area in the selected list box

5. Now I logged into the Discoverer desktop using sysadmin --> System Administrator to create a workbook.

6. In the step 2 of creating a workbook, I am not able to view the business area that I am created.

Is there any steps I am missing?.. What I have to do to display the business group that I created for creating a workbook in Discoverer Desktop.

Thanks & Regards
Aboothahir M
