Not able to send email to id with 'hyphen' in domain name

Hi,

I am trying to send mail through APEX_MAIL.send, I am receiving mail in gmail and other mails, but fails to receive in email id's with 'hyphen' in domain name say,

mymailid@domain-name.com.

Is this issue with apex_mail?
