Not able to find bashrc file after installation of solaris10

I have installed solaris10 and want to edit the bashrc file but not able to find them....

I have logged in as root user

# pwd
/
# cd
# pwd
/
I was not able to go to ~directory.....I am still in the / . How to go to the ~ directory ?

WHere is bashrc? do I have to create that file?
