865252May 29 2011 — edited Jun 2 2011
Hi All,

I just started learning linux by installing pre-built developer VM which comes with oracle enterprise linux 5 , SQLDEVELOPER and Jdeveloper.
by default linux userid "oracle" got created and i was able to access SQLPLUS from linux command line . I recently created a new linux user "joy" .
I logged on to linux with the user "joy" and tried to access sqlplus from linux command line but i am getting "command not found exception.
I might need to configure something for the new user i added but i don't know what it is to be configured since i started learning linux 2 days back.
Please tell me what is to done to fix this.

Thanks,
MAHI
