"not a valid key file" when uploading our public key in the "PGP keys" in BIP

Geraud AndreuxOct 28 2016

Hello,

we are trying to use the PGP encryption on the output of some of our reports, and it's harder than you would expect,

This is using BI publisher on an HCM Cloud instance. In the BI Publisher administration section.

When I try to upload our public key in the system, I simply get the error "Uploaded PGP key file 0CF563A80A53D0819GF99006BFBF7126AC851D87.asc is not a valid key file".

That's it, no extra info.

It's a file generated straight from a new certificate, done in Kleopatra, which is part of the GpG4Win package recommended (through an SR) in the following document:

"

Encryption and Decryption Methods in Oracle HCM Cloud

Oracle Human Capital Management 11g Release 11 (11.1.11)

ORACLE WHITE PAPER | JULY 2016

"

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, and if so what's the next step to try.

Can anybody help?

Has anyone been using this PGP encryption on BI? Can you explain your process?

thanks!

cheers,

Géraud
