NOCOPY Hint in a SYS_REFCURSOR.

I hava a procedure with an out SYS_REFCURSOR parameter and there is a warning suggesting I can benefit from a NOCOPY HINT.

Isn't the REF CURSOR already a reference? What would be the real benefit in terms of performance by adopting such a suggestion?
