No of physical disks

user8610659Apr 9 2012 — edited Apr 17 2012
Hi all!

How can I check the no of physical disks being used by the Linux server.

I would like to know which physical disks l are forming what logical mount points.....i.e, the mapping.

I would like to multiplex my control files and redo log file in different physical disks. I am able to do it in separate logical mount points but unable to do it in physical disks.

Is there any utility like windows disk management?

Please help.
