No-logging for particular table or schema ?

Muhammad Shuja-OracleOct 11 2015 — edited Oct 11 2015

In a Dataguard implementation (ver 11g or above), is it possible to remove certain tables or a whole schema from log-shipping ? One of our customer is facing following situation. They run a batch job daily, for some DBI (daily reporting app), which makes extensive updates on the database tables (not much new data), which naturally generates big redo-logs. This hampers their main transaction logs to be transported to DR site. Or suggest, if there's any other better solution for this issue ?

"Currently we are using Oracle EBS ver. 12.1.3 with DB 11gR2, issues facing large no of archives generating, approx. 108GB per day, not able to transport manually from primary  site to DR site with 1.6 Mbps, archives sequence 2, 1, 1 GB. As per my observation 2GB transport time from Factory to DR site approx. 30 Mins, that’s why not able to sync DR site."
