NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS [, ] FRENCH and how to use the numeric pad [. suppr]

JeanYves BernierJan 18 2008 — edited Apr 15 2008
Hi,
and first i wish you a very happy new year to all !

Here is my problem :
we have an application (forms 9.0.4) that use nls_numeric_characters ", " .
in a numeric item with format mask G999G990D00 the result is of course 133 221,40.
but for convenience the users want to use the numeric pad key [. suppr] touch to enter the comma, which is of course much simpler for them to enter amounts.

My question :
Is there a simple way to parameter the touch [. suppr] to the [? ,] in forms ?

Thanks in advance
JeanYves
