NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET - UTF8 vs AL16UTF16

Hi,

is AL16UTF16 considered a superset of UTF8? more beneficial to use as NLS NCHAR CHARACTER SET?

if i change a database NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET from UFT8 TO AL16UTF16, any impact on it?
