NIS 2 LDAP not updated to slave nis servers

807573Apr 22 2004 — edited Apr 26 2004
Hi all, I've installed NIS 2 LDAP on our iDS5.2, and the updates are working fine for the master server, but althoug ypxfrd is working, and if I initialize slave servers with ypinit -s master the maps are updated, changes made to the master server are not update to slave. If I try to force updates with yppush passwd.byname for example, I get the following error in /var/adm/messages:

Apr 22 12:06:03 aries ypxfrd[24394]: [ID 288613 daemon.warning] ldap_search(0x41b28,
Apr 22 12:06:03 aries "ou=people,dc=domain,dc=edu",
Apr 22 12:06:03 aries 1,
Apr 22 12:06:03 aries ypxfrd[24394]: [ID 582114 daemon.warning] "objectClass=posixAccount",
Apr 22 12:06:03 aries 0x0,
Apr 22 12:06:03 aries 0) => 53 (DSA is unwilling to perform)
Apr 22 12:06:03 aries ypxfrd[24394]: [ID 202879 daemon.error] update_map_from_dit: ldapSearch error 53 (DSA is unwilling to perform) for passwd.byuid,domain.edu. (passwd.byuid)

I'm getting other errors in ids errors, these are the following:

[22/Apr/2004:11:35:12 +0200] - DEBUG - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - libdb: illegal record number of 0
[22/Apr/2004:11:35:12 +0200] - ERROR<20753> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - vlv_build_idl: can't follow db cursor (err 22)

In the manual it says I have to make an db2ldif and then ldif2db, I've done that and still getting those errors.

Any help will be MUCH appreciated! TIA!
