NIC driver in OEL4.7

Hello sir

I installed OEL4.7 in compaq CQ3540ix machine.I tried to install the network driver RTL8101 based on the instruction provided by realtec. They suggested to install it using the file autorun.sh. When I run the file as ./autorun.sh by logging into the Realteck folder, it provides the following error

"make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.9-78.0.0.0.1.ELsmp/build: No such file or directory. stop

make[1]: *** [modules] Error 2

make: *** [modules] Error2"

What may be the cause of error. Could you please help me on this issue.Oel 4.7 kernel version is 2.6.9-78.0.0.0.1.ELsmp. Thanks in advance
