NFS Configuration [/etc/exports] for OVM Storage Repositories?

OVS & OVMM=3.4.4

File server = OL7U5 (NFS)

What are the recommended settings for an NFS storage repository? e.g., Common /etc/exports options...

sync,

async,

wdelay,

root_squash,

all_squash,

anonuid,

anongid,

etc.

Also:

What version of NFS will OVS prefer? (e.g., 3/4.x)
What UID & GID should own the exported directory?
Should the shared directory be empty before being discovered by OVMM?
