New versions of NetworkManager do not work

Karl F.Jun 21 2018 — edited Sep 18 2018

Hi,

Since I installed the version 1.10.2-13 of NetworkManger I cannot start my network.

Here are the error logs :

NetworkManager[31994]: <warn>  [1529604114.4607] platform-linux: do-add-ip4-address[2: Y.Y.Y.Y/24]: failure 22 (Argument invalide)

NetworkManager[31994]: <warn>  [1529604114.4608] platform: route-sync: failure to add IPv4 route: 0.0.0.0/0 via X.X.X.X dev 2 metric 100 mss 0 rt-src user: Le réseau n'est pas accessible (101); is the gateway directly reachable?

systemd[1]: network.service: control process exited, code=exited status=1

systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: Bring up/down networking.

systemd[1]: Unit network.service entered failed state.

systemd[1]: network.service failed.

...where Y.Y.Y.Y is the IP address of the server, and X.X.X.X is the gateway.

The latest version 1.10.2-14 didn't correct the problem neither.

If I downgrade to the version 1.8.0-11 of NetworkManager everything work well.

Some sugguest to disable NetworkManager service and only use Network service. But it's only a workaround; NetworkManger should work like it does with the oldest versions.

Thanks for your help.
