new line with JLabel with textarea aside of it

hey,

Im making a window... and I want to right several lines with aside of that a JTextfield.

i tried severl things:

new JLabel(" first \n second") .... but that doesnt work

new JLabel("<html> first <br> second") ... but then the lines are not outlined with the textfield.

Does anyone have an idea.

Also does anyone know if you fill in the values in the JTextfield, how they can be rembered next time (update)?
