Networking Solaris to Windows?

Hello,

Im having some problems getting my Solaris 10 box networked with my Windows 7 machine. Here is my configuration.

Using a crossover cable between the two.

Solaris

#ifconfig bnx0 plumb
#ifconfig bnx0 192.168.2.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 up

Windows

IP Address: 192.168.2.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Ive tried pining each one but no luck. What i would like to do is to get the two networked togther so i can putty the box from my windows pc.
