Network Failure when APIC is enabled

Does the Solaris OS support APIC ?
In our testing we found out that once APIC is enabled, the network is no longer accessible. Here information on how to recreate the problem :

Solaris OS network issue
errror procedure

Put the Solris Cd on CDrom
Boot from CD

Screen #1 Solaris Device Configuration Assistant
Press F2_Coutinue
Screen #2 Bus Enumeration
Enter_Continue
Screen #3 Scanning Device
Screen #4 Identified Devices
Press F2_Continue

Screen #5 Boot Solaris
Check CD[x] -Space bar
F2_Continue
Screen #6 Select the type of instllation
Select 1 solris interactive

Screen #7 Select a Language
0- English
Screen #8 The Solris Installation Program
F2_Continue
Screen #9 Kdmconfig - Introduction
F2_Continue
Screen #10 KdmConfig - View and Edit Window System Configuration
Check [x] Change Video Deivce/Monitor
F2_Continue
Screen #11 Video Device Selection
Check[x] 16 color Standard VGA 640x480 (256k)
F2_Continue
Screen #12 Monitor Type Selection
OS detection Monitor
F2_Continue
Screen #13 KdmConfig - View and Edit Window System Configuration
Check [x] No Change needed

IS THIS DISPLAY OKAY?
Yes

You will see the System identify screen
Click Continue -Button

Screen #16 Network configuration
Network - Yes
Click Continue - Button
Screen #17 DHCP usage
DHCP - No
Click Continue -Button

Screen #18 Host Name
Host name : type some name
i.e) aaa
Click Continue -Button
Screen #19 IP Address
IP Address : type user assigned IP
i.e) 134.xxx.yyy.zzz
Click Continue -Button
Screen#29 SubNet
Use Subnet - Yes
Click Continue -Button

Screen#30 NetMask
NetMask : 266.255.255.0
Click Continue -Button

Screen#31 IPv6 use : No
Click Continue -Button
Screen#32 Information Confirm
Click Continue -Button

You can see the Solaris Console Prompt.. #

You can check if Net work works..

like this
#ping 134.zzz.xxx.yyy
134.zzz.xxx.yyy alive..

If APIC is enabled, the last step will look like this:

#ping 134.zzz.xxx.yyy
134.zzz.xxx.yyy ............
Network not responding ...
