Need to restart any service after change in /etc/resolv.conf

Hi ,

Solaris 8 OS migrated as Branded zone and now it's a live production server , There is requirement to change /etc/resolv.conf with new DNS server . Just want to confirm if we need to restart any services for Solaris 8 OS . I found some Oracle doc for Solaris 10 where some svcadm command to restart the services for DNS re-read . But Solaris 8 do we have any thing ????
