need to find date in the format as 'DD-MM-YYYY' and 'DD/MM/YYYY'

hi everybody

i need to find the hire_date in the format as 'dd-mm-yyyy' and 'dd/mm/yyyy'. this also showing some errors i cant found out. pls help to solve this..
