need to change root and oracle password in linux

Dear All,

we have installed one Oracle RAC server configured one year back. now due to security reason needs to change the root as well as oracle user password.
so before changing password we want to know is there any impact on live RAC server due to change password of oracle and root user.

as we have oracle user equivalency so if we change the password , it will be working fine.
