need the information about the precision rule behaviour in the ADF .

Hi ,

I am using the JDeveloper 11.1.2.2 .

in the hr schema employee table in the salary column precision rule given number(8,2).

i enter in the field 7 digits it shows the Error (EX:1234567). i need arrange like(EX:123456.70) format . but here i am getting the Precision Scale Error.
please help me .
