need info regarding reports

Hi all

Can any one tell me what is the order of services that supposed to be start before navigating in to financial reporting , web analysis.

I guess we can navigate in to reports through workspace ..if so how ?

when ever I try to start financial reporting studio I am getting a dialog box saying

run time error 429
activex componnent cant create object ---- how to resolve this.
forget to say ...our version is 9.3.1 with sql server.

Please tell me the sequence of services that we need to start
