Need Help! I wanna get fixed length encrypted string

Hi.
I don't know how to get fixed length encrypted string with jce. I wanna get encrypted string not longer than 8. I have to encrypt string which lenght is shoter than 8.

Which algorithm and method can I use?

Please help me!
