Need help: Generate alpha number sequence

Hi,
I need to generate an alpha numeric 5 digit sequence so that I can get maximum number of sequnce values. eg. 00000-99999,A0000-A9999,B0000-B9999,AB000-AB999,0000A-9999B etc.. Can some kindly suggest a way to implement this using sql/plsql coding.
