Need event ID for database login failure

481634Jan 9 2006
HI!

I have a client who runs Oracle. He wants to use my software to recieve a notification when someone fails a login to Oracle. (No problem). I did some research and found that Oracle logs this information to the Windows event log (he is using windows). What I need to know is:
-What does the event log message look like?
-What event ID does oracle use to report a database authentication failure?
-Which log is it in? (Application or Security- mssql is in the application log)
-What type of message is it? (Information, Error, Warning, etc -mssql is information)

Thanks in advance for the help!
