Hello,
We a currently working on developing a VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) extension for our Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud environment. As part of this project, we need to introduce approval workflow functionality, and we are planning to use Oracle PCS (Process Cloud Service) for this purpose.
Our specific requirement is to integrate the existing delegation workflow from Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud into Oracle PCS, allowing us to trigger and manage delegation processes from our VBCS extension. We understand that Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud already has a BPM (Business Process Management) workflow for delegation, but we need assistance in understanding how to leverage this workflow in the Oracle PCS PaaS (Platform as a Service) layer.
Here are the key points we would appreciate guidance on:
- How can we navigate to the delegation workflow in Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud? We need to confirm its availability and ensure it is active in our instance.
- Which specific web services or APIs are exposed by the delegation workflow in Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud? We need to know how to interact with these APIs to initiate the delegation process from our VBCS extension.
- What are the steps to integrate the delegation workflow with Oracle PCS? We would like to understand the technical process of triggering the delegation workflow from the VBCS extension and monitoring its progress.
- Are there any specific security measures we need to implement for authentication and access control between our VBCS extension, Oracle PCS, and Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud?
- Additionally, any advice on error handling, exception management, and best practices for such an integration would be highly valuable.
We couldn't find the Oracle SaaS ERP Cloud documentation and hence the specific details for integrating delegation workflow with Oracle PCS are not clear to us. We hope the Oracle support team or the community can provide us with accurate guidance/documentation and steps to achieve this integration successfully.
Thank you for your assistance.
Regards,
Rish
