Navigating to new tab from desktop navigation bar

Hi all,

I am using apex 18.2, i have a requirement that after clicking navigation menu i need to open external url in new tab.

I have created menu in 'Desktop Navigation Menu' and given provided details below.

Target type : URL

URL target : https://google.com/" target="_blank"

still it is opening in same tab only, I need to open in new tab. Any thing wrong in my URL target
