Navigate between records in VB.NET

Hello !!

I would like to know if there is a things to do to navigate between records in VB.NET without using a dataset object.
I've creat 4buttons to navigate (movefirst, moveprevious, movenext, movelast). I can reach the first and last records of a table but how can i move for one record ?
